Militant attack on office of SP city South in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jun 22 (UNI) Militants attacked SP's office with rifle grenades last night, a police spokesperson said today.

He said militants fired two rifle grenades towards the SP's office at Rambagh on the Srinagar-Airport road from an unidentified place.

However, one of the grenades went off in the nearby flood channel another remained unexploded on the roadside near the office.

Later, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) destroyed the grenade without causing any damage.

There was no casualty in the attack, he said.
