Various Sikh organisations burn Ram Rahim's effigies
Jalandhar, Jun 21 (UNI) Protesting against the killing of a Sikh in the firing in Mumbai, various Sikh organisations today burnt the effigies of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh at different places in the city.
Demanding immidiate arrest of the controversial spiritual leader, over yesterday's firing incident in which one person was killed and three others were injured when the security guard of Ram Rahim Singh fired at protesters, who were shouting slogans against him at Mulund Mumbai, the protesters, set his effigies on fire at Campany Bagh Chowk, Gurunanak Mission Chowk and Sekhon Bazar.
Meanwhile, administration has put the security forces on alert, to further prevent any untoward incident.
