Stress on creating next-gen entrepreneurs

Bangalore, Jun 21 (UNI) IIM Bangalore Director Pankaj Chandra today emphasised the need to create a new generation of entrepreneurs for generating jobs and wealth in India.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Management Programme for Entrepreneurs and Family Business (MPEFB) here, Prof Chandra said the IIM-B, on its part, would chalk out new programmes for development of high-tech entrepreneurs giving them good ground in fundamental principles of business.

Stating job opportunities in the country were coming down despite the growth in GDP, he said creation of entrpreneurs would surely help to generate more jobs and wealth.

Referring to the MPEFB programme, he said it had been able to provide a unique methodology to equip entrepreneurs with critical business management inputs.
