One killed, 4 hospitalised in hooch tragedy in TN village
Chennai, Jun 21 (UNI) One person was killed and four others were hospitalised in hooch tragedy at Bommudi village in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu today.
However, it is yet to be ascertained when and where the victims had consumed the illegal liquor.
Senior district police officials have rushed to the spot.
Today's incident comes close on the heels of the death of more than 150 people in two hooch tragedies at Hosur in the adjoining Krishnagiri district and bordering villages of Karnataka.
More than 50 people had been killed in Krishnagiri district alone, while the tragedy at Karnataka had claimed over 100 lives.
