Congress, Left engaged in shadow boxing over nuclear deal:JD(U)
Patna, Jun 21 (UNI) JD(U) today alleged that Congress and Left were indulged in ''shadow boxing'' over the nuclear deal only to divert the attention of the masses from the soaring prices of essential commodities.
JD(U) national general secretary Shivanand Tiwari said here that a situation of political instability had creeped in the country because of the ongoing shadow boxing between the Congress and the Left over the nuclear deal.
''All such uncertainties were being deliberately created by ruling alliance to spark speculations on timing of Lok Sabha elections, while the rising prices of essentials was more important issue and it deserved serious public debate,'' he noted.
''Developmental schemes of almost all states were affected due to sky-rocketting prices and astonishingly the Central government was not mustering enough courage to take action against those responsible to create the situation of price rise,'' Mr Tiwari pointed out.
