2 more succumb to monsoon related disease
Mumbai, Jun 21 (UNI) Two more persons have succumbed to monsoon related diseases in the metropolis today, taking the toll to nine.
According to civic officials, one patient succumbed to fever at KEM Hospital, while the other died due to malaria at the Rajawadi Hospital.
Earlier, seven persons had died due to monsoon-related diseases.
Of them, three succumbed to dengue, two to malaria and two to fever.
In the last 24 hours ending today morning, 236 patients were admitted to various hospitals for various monsoon related diseases.
Of them, 155 were admitted for fever, 53 for gastroenteritis, 23 for malaria, three for suspected leptospirosis and two for suspected dengue.
