Relay fast by KPC enters 50th day
Kannur, Jun 19 (UNI) A relay fast by the activists of Kerala Prohibition Council (KPC) against the liquor policy of the state government entered the 50th day today.
The KPC was demanding restoration of provisions in the Panchayat Raj and Nagarapalika bills regarding licence to liquor shops.
KPC State President Fr Thomas Thythottam said the fast would continue until the demand of KPC was taken into consideration at the state Assembly.
