PGCIL net up 17.82 pc at Rs 1448.47 cr for FY08

New Delhi, Jun 19: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) today said it has registered 17.82 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 1448.47 crore for the year ended March 2008 against Rs 1229.37 crore in the previous fiscal.

The state transmission utility's total income jumped 24.02 per cent to Rs 5081.53 crore from Rs 4097.15 crore in FY 07.
