One killed, several looted in train

Sasaram, Jun 19; One person was killed and a dozen were looted by armed miscreants who boarded a train near Naukaha railway station on Gaya-Mughalsarai section of East Central Railway early today.

Railway police sources said, Umesh Tiwari, working as an electrician with BCCL, Dhanbad, was on way to his home on Banaras-Vikramgunj passenger train when a group of armed miscreants entered the train near Naukaha station.

They threatened the passengers to surrender their belongings at gun point. When Mr Tiwari resisted, he was shot dead. The dacoits managed to flee while raids were on to nab them, sources added.
