Ford rolls out Fiesta 1.6 S

New Delhi, Jun 19: Ford Motor Co, the world's third largest automaker in terms of worldwide vehicle sales, on June 19, Thursday launched two models--Fiesta 1.6 S and SXI-- in the price range of Rs 7.10-8.14 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

''We are targeting the new affluent customers of country. The bold syling of new Fiesta indicates a clear move toward European desing cues and is a true reflection of the Ford Fiesta's exciting on-road character,'' Ford India President Michael Boneham told reporters here. FIESTA 1.6 S has a sporty look, whereas SXI falls under the 'luxury' segment.

SXI's diesel version will cost Rs 8.14 lakhs, while customer has to pay Rs 7.10 lakhs for the petrol mode.

Fiesta 1.6 S is available only petrol version, which is priced at Rs 7.15 lakhs.
