Chief of Naval Staff visits ENC

Visakhapatnam, June 19 (UNI) Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Sureesh Mehta, today visited various ships and establishments, including the newly commissioned INS Kesari and the utility helicopter squadron based in INS Dega Airport.

According to an ENC release here tonight, Admiral Mehta would also review projects conceived during his tenure as the Commander-in-Chief, including the married accommodation project at Doolphin Hill and new additions such as the ship handling simulator at the Maritime Warfare Centre and the Fleet Sports Complex.

He would also interact with officers of the command in the mid-level seniority bracket.

Navy Wives Welfare Association (NWWA) President Maria Teresa Mehta visited the girls hostel in INS Circars and also interacted with the ladies of the ''Shara Group,'' an organisation run by the NWWA for rehabilitation of the widows of service personnel.
