Body of Ramesh Kanojia recovered, others missing
Midnapore, Jun 19 (UNI) The body of Mr Ramesh Kanojia, Delhi based business associate of Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee's ex-secretary Gautam Basu, was recovered from here this morning.
Altogether seven persons, including Mr Basu and Mr Kanojia, were carried away by the rising tide of Keleghai river near Poktapole on June 17 and the body was recovered about 2000 yards from the site of occurrence.
Informing this to newspersons here, West Midnapore district Superintendent of Police R Rajshekharan said two others- Mr Basu and another person, who were carried away by the tide along with Mr Kanojia, were still missing.
Four persons have been rescued so far Mr Rajshekharan said adding Airforce from Kalaikunda has been deployed to search for the two missing.
