Admissions to class XI put off

Puducherry, June 19 (UNI) Admissions to plus one classes in Government schools here, which were scheduled to commence tomorrow, have been postponed.

In a release here today, Director of Education, Mr Ragesh Chandra said this was in the wake of Madras High Court's stay on the admission procedure.

The new dates for admissions would be announced later, he said.

A student hailing from Karaikal had obtained a stay from Madras High court on the admission process.
