7208 devotees for Haj pilgrimage from Kerala
Kozhikode, Jun 19 (UNI) The Kerala Haj Committee (KHC) today elected 7,208 devotees through the offical quota for performing Haj at the holy city of Mecca this year.
They were elected through draw of lots from among the 29,054 applicants by Kerala Local Self Governance Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty at a function here, KHC sources said.
They said 126 applicants were in the waiting list.
