17 stolen vehicles seized in Leh

Leh, Jun 19 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today seized 17 stolen vehicles here, official sources said.

They said acting on a tip off about stolen vehicles being sold and purchased in the district, police raided a number of places.

During the raids, police seized the vehicles stolen from different states.

The vehicles were plying with fake documents, they said.

Sources said some of the cars were sold against Pashmina shawls in Changthang.
