Life out of gear due to heavy rains in MP town

Shivpuri, MP, June 18 (UNI) Putting life out of gear, the incessant rains filled water in low-lying residential areas besides blocking Shivpuri-Narwar road in this district, official sources said today.

The heavy rain submerged the river and nullahs while the water level of Sindh, Mahuar and Pachawali rivers escalated.

A nullah on Shivpuri-Natwar road overflowed obstructing the traffic movement. The construction material of an under construction bridge fell on the diverted route on the same road which also blocked it.

The monsoon remained active in the Madhya Pradesh's northern region hence Gwalior and Chambal divisions have been receiving rains while the clouds covered the rest places with sporadic rains.
