Law student shoots self to death in Rajouri

Jammu, Jun 18: A Law student committed suicide by shooting himself with a rifle in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, police here today said.

''The deceased identified as Kulbir Singh, 22, resident of Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri committed suicide at his residence last evening by shooting himself with 303 rifle,'' police told the sources.

However, critically injured Kulbir Singh, with a bullet injury on chest, was immediately shifted to the hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.

''The weapon was issued to one of his family members representing VDC while case has been registered and investigations are in progress,'' the police added.
