Two brothers drown in village pond in Haryana

Kaithal, Jun 17 (UNI) Two brothers drowned in the village pond in Guliana in this district yesterday, police today stated.

The brothers, 11-year old Amit and 13-year old Ajay (13) were playing near the pond when their ball fell inside. The two jumped into the water to reitrieve the ball and landed in the deeper portion of the pond and drowned.

Their bodies were later fished out of the pond.
