Kevin Spacey signs up for 'Shrink'
Washington, June 17 : Kevin Spacey has signed on to star in Jonas Pate's indie drama 'Shrink,' that has just begun production in Los Angeles.
Shrink will feature Spacey as a shrink to the stars, played by a collection of actors including Saffron Burrows, Jack Huston, Griffin Dunne, Robin Williams, Pell James, Robert Loggia, Keke Palmer, Laura Ramsey, Gore Vidal, Dallas Roberts and Mark Webber, reports Variety.
Unable to come to grips with a recent personal tragedy, the shrink is a chronic pot smoker who no longer cares about his personal appearance and has lost faith in his ability to help his patients.
The film, scripted by Thomas Moffett, is a co-production between Ignite, Ithaka and Trigger Street.
Ithaka's Braxton Pope is producing with Trigger Street's Dana Brunetti.
