Dustin Hoffman's wife saved him from 'fuddy-duddy' retirement
London, June 17 : Dustin Hoffman has credited his wife Lisa for saving him from becoming a retired actor.
The 70-year-old actor was ordered to return to Hollywood by his wife when she noticed he was altering his wardrobe to match his advancing years.
"One morning Lisa noticed I was wearing a cardigan and the next day, too, followed by slippers," the Daily Express quoted him, as telling style bible L'uomo Vogue.
"So one day she just told me that, instead of dressing like a retired actor, I should go back to work. So that's what I did," he added.
However, Hoffman admitted he is unwilling to change other parts of his life, and always makes sure he is in bed early.
"I'm in bed before 10," he said.
