Authorities seek PoK help to trace student bodies
Baramulla, Jun 17 (UNI) The authorities have sought the help of the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) administration to trace the bodies of two engineering students drowned in the river Jehlum at Uri.
Official sources said despite thourough search by expert divers in the river Jehlum on this side of the border, the bodies could not be fished out.
Two students of a private engineering college were drowned in river Jehlum near a power house yesterday.
The sources said the matter was taken up to the PoK administration and their help was sought to trace the bodies.
Last month, body of a driver was fished out in PoK which was later buried there. However, the body was returned after the Army authorities took up the matter with Pakistan Army.
