Tejli Sports Complex to be named after late Rajesh Sharma

Chandigarh, Jun 16 (UNI) The Haryana Government has decided to name the Tejli Sports Complex, Yamunanagar after the name of former state Minister late Rajesh Sharma.

While announcing this here today, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, "Mr Rajesh Sharma, son of first Haryana Chief Minister Pt Bhagwat Dayal Sharma and Yamunanagar MLA, was a great visionary and had great contribution in the development of Yamunanagar district." "The foundation stone of the Tejli Sports Complex was laid during his tenure as Minister and the contribution of Mr Sharma in developing Tejli Sports complex could not be forgotten. The government has decided to name the sports complex to make his cherished memory everlasting and perpetual," Mr Hooda said.
