SCB-Tata AIG launches insurance for lost card

Mumbai, Jun 16: Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), in association with TATA AIG General Insurance Co Ltd, has launched a insurance cover plan against lost card -- 'Plus Extended Protection Plan'.

The product will provide insurance cover to the card customers, for their lost card, up to Rs 50,000 per occurrence of any fraudulent transaction done 12 hours prior to the customer reporting the loss. This would be applicable on any payment, debit or credit card, StanChart said in a release here today. The product will ensure protection to the customers against any fraudulent use, Bank General Manager (Credit Cards&Personal Loan) R L Prasad said.
