Sena tehsil chief found dead
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 16 (UNI) The Shiv Sena Chief of Umri tehsil of Nanded district of Marathwada region was found dead in mysterious circumstances at the Subhedari Guest House here today.
According to sources, the 40-year-old tehsil Sena Chief Balasaheb Girmaji Patil, along with Nanded district Sena Chief Hemant Jadhav Patil and another Sena leader Kakasaheb, had booked Room No 13 in Ellora suite of Subhedari Guest House. Around 0100 hrs on Sunday, they had drinks. Later, in the morning he was found dead by the guest house staff, sources said.
After receiving information, police immediately rushed to the spot and took the body to the Government Medical College and Hospital. The body was taken to Patil's native place by his relatives after the post-mortem.
Preliminary investigation suggest that Mr Patil must have fallen from the second floor of the guest house. However, police are suspecting foul play in Mr Patil's death and investigating whether he was pushed from the second floor by somebody. Further investigations are on.
