Minor police reshuffle in HP

Shimla, Jun 16 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government today effected a minor reshuffle of police officers in the state, official sources said.

Shimla ASP Jai Pal has been transferred and posted as new ASP Mandi, while Shimla ASP Prem Lal has been named ASP (CID) at Shimla, the sources told UNI here.

Mandi ASP Rajesh Dharmani has been named the ASP Kullu, relieving ASP Kullu Hardev Bisht, who has been posted as Shimla ASP.

The sources said Kangra ASP Mohinder Singh has also been named new Shimla ASP, while Shimla (city) DSP Madan Lal has been posted at first Battalion Junga.

DSP first Battalion Bhagat Singh would now be DSP (Himachal Pradesh University) Security, relieving Rakesh Singh who would now be SDPO Baijnath.

The sources said DSP (SV and ACB) Ananth Kumar Dinesh has been named the new Shimla DSP (City), while SDPO Kaza has been posted as DSP (leave reserve).
