JPL commissions 250 MW unit
New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) Jindal Steel and Power Ltd today said its subsidiary Jindal Power Ltd (JPL) has commissioned its third unit of 250 MW capacity.
''The third unit of JPL of 250 MW capacity has started generation of power for commercial purposes from June 15,'' a company statement said.
With the commissioning of this Unit, JPL has now power generation capacity of 750 MW.
The last unit of 250 MW is in the final stage of implementation and the total project of 1,000 MW is likely to be operational by July 2008, it added.
