Hooda announces aid to kin of deceased scribes

Chandigarh, Jun 16 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced to give a financial assistance of Rs two lakh each to the next of kin of three journalists Shahnaj Sheoran, Mahavir Jain and Vijay Malhotra and press photographer Sushil Kumar.

The Chief Minister expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved families of the journalists on the untimely and sad demise. He shared his grief with the family members of the late journalists.

Shahnaj Sheoran (29) was the Editor of Jat Ki Baat, Rohtak who died in an accident. Mahavir Jain (47), who was a senior journalist of Punjab Kesari, Delhi, died after cardic arrest.

Press photographer Sushil Kumar (43) also died due to heart attack.
