FPHL launches property in Bangalore

{image-fortune hotels_16062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Bangalore, Jun 16: Fortune Park Hotels Limited (FPHL), a subsidiary of ITC Limited and JP Group, today announced plans to build and own hotels in the gateway cities of Bengaluru, Kolkata and Coimbatore and subsequently in other key destinations.

Inaugurating its new premium business hotel here, ITC Limited Hotels Division Executive Vice President Pawan Verma said with the opening of 24th 'Fortune' Hotel, the city has joined the band of key destinations such as Kolkata, Navi Mumbai, Gurgaon and Chennai. Replying to queries, he said the ITC had signed 50 alliances to open hotels through its subsidiary Fortune Park Hotels of which 24 had been opened already. On an average, every six weeks one new hotel was being opened, he added saying the next hotel would be inaugurated in Hyderabad followed by one in Jaipur. In the luxury segment, the ITC Group would open super luxury properties in places like Bengaluru and Chennai. J P Group of Hotels Chairman and Managing Director Narayanaswamy was also present.

The property, with 134 rooms is located in the heart of the city. It also has a room specially designed for differently-abled people. The rooms have been tastefully done up in contemprary style decor and were spacious and smart. They boast of a carefully crafted blend of aesthetics and modern amenities such as LCD TV, tea or coffee maker, mini bar, electronic weigh measure and others, including a state-of-the-art swimming pool located on the top floor of the hotel.
