Former gram pradhan shot dead
Mirzapur, June 16 (UNI) Unidentified assailants shot dead a former gram padhan in Chunaar area of the district.
The miscreants opened fire at former gram pradhan Ramesh Bind and his friend Chotu Yadav near a bus stand late last night, police said today.
The wounded were rushed to hospital in a life threatening condition, where Bind was declared brought dead.
The reason behind the murder was yet to be ascertained.
The body has been sent for autopsy.
