Five persons injured in head-on collision

Phagwara, June 16 (UNI) Five persons sustained critical injuries in a head-on collision between a Jalandhar bound car and a tanker near Chachrarri village between Phagwara and Goraya on NH-I this evening, police here stated.

According to reports, the car after ramming into the road divider smashed into the tanker in the parallel lane. The car driver apparently lost control of the vehicle that led to the mishap.

The injured, all of whom were in the car were admitted to the civil hospital here.
