FBI's week-long training session kicks off

New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) A week-long programme of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sharing US expertise in bomb blast probes through in-depth case studies began here today.

Besides a world-class training session developed by the US, the programme will also give knowledge to all law-enforcement agencies about the composition and effects of various types of explosives, proper procedures for processing a post-blast scene and collection of crime scene evidence.

The training will culminate with a practical exercise simulating a terrorist bomb attack.
