Era Infra bags Rs 65.50 cr contracts from Birla Tyres, Alps Ind

New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) Era Infra Engineering Ltd today said its construction and contracts division has bagged contracts worth Rs 65.50 crore from Birla Tyres and Alps Industries.

The scope of work for the contract involves the construction of two tyre plants for Birla Tyres at Haridwar, Uttarakhand, for a combined contract value of Rs 55 crore, a company statement said.

Both these plants are scheduled to be completed by April 2009.

The scope of work for Alps Industries involves construction of weaving and processing unit at Meerut, UP, with a value of Rs 10.5 crore. This project is scheduled to be completed by February 2009.

The total project cost, however, excludes the cost of cement and steel, it added.
