Doctor faces threat from jail superintendent in Nawada
Nawada, Jun 16 (UNI) A doctor of Nawada divisional jail today filed an FIR against its superintendent for allegedly threatening him on his mobile phone.
Official sources said Dr Irfan Ahmad lodged FIR against Superintendent R P Yadav alleging that he had threatened him of dire consequences on mobile phone following his refusal to give favourable injury report of a prisoner Virmani Pandey.
Pandey was allegedly beaten by police mercilessly in connection with an extortion case before he was lodged in jail on a court directive in last month, sources added.
