2 engineering students drowned in Kashmir
Baramulla, Jun 16 (UNI) Two students of a private engineering college were drowned in the river Jhelum at Uri today, official sources said.
They said the students of a college drowned in the river Jhelum at Uri, about 50 km from here, this afternoon.
Efforts were on to fish out the bodies, they said, adding a group of students of the college had gone there for a picnic.
Early this year a truck driver fell into the river in the same area and later his body was recovered in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The body was later handed over to troops by Pakistan Army.
