12 months baby raped

Sambalpur, Jun 16(UNI)In a shocking incident, a 12 month old girl child was raped by a labourer taking advantage of the loneliness.

The incident took place this evening inside Bahalpara under town police station area.The accused,known as Beda belonged to Bihar and was absconding after committing the heinous crime.He used to work in various hotels .

Police said the accused entered the house of the victim when her parents were out of home.The old grand father who was present in the house heard the girl crying.

When he came to attend the girl he saw the act of Beda and shouted for help. The girl was rushed to hospital while teh man fled from the scene.

The baby's father later filed a FIR before the police who registered a case and searched the accused.
