Lalu calls for overthrowing Nitish Kumar government
Ramgarh, Jun 15 (UNI) RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today called for overthrowing the Nitish Kumar government for alleged failure to protect the interest of minorities and weaker section.
Addressing the partymen, Mr Prasad lambasted the Bihar government saying it had failed to protect the interests of minorities and poor. All claims made by the NDA government were only political gimmicks to mislead the people, he added.
Mr Prasad exuded confidence that UPA would be voted back to power at the Centre in next Lok Sabha election and called upon party workers to work unitedly for preparation of the parliamentary election.
He alleged the state government was not utilising the fund provised by the Centre for execution of various welfare and development projects.
