Fishermen advised not to venture into sea

Mumbai, Jun 15: The Meterological department today forecast rain or thundershowers in parts of the city and suburbs with gusty winds during the next 24 hours.

The Department also advised the fishermen of Maharashtra and Goa coasts not to venture into rough sea during the next 24 hours.

The Met Department recorded rainfall of 22.9 mm at Colaba and 41.2 mm at Santa Cruz during the last 24 hours which ended at 0830 hrs today.

Disaster Cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that except for a few trees getting uprooted during last night, every thing was normal.
