Petrol, diesel prices lowered by Re 1 per litre
Dehra Dun, Jun 14 (UNI) The Uttarakhand government has further lowered the petrol and diesel prices by Re 1 per litre.
Earlier, the hiked fuel prices were slashed by 50 paise per litre.
Petrol and diesel would now cost 0.22 paise less and 0.62 paise less, per litre respectively.
The state government has, however, decided not to revise the price of domestic cylinders which would cost Rs 13.21 less, Chief Minister B C Khanduri informed.
The reduction in prices of petrol and diesel would put a burden of Rs 12 crore and Rs 41 crore, respectively on the state's exchequer, while lowering the costs of domestic cylinders would result in Rs 12 crore loss on the state's coffers.
