Nitish Kumar government is misleading the people: Lalu
Ramgarh, Jun 14 (UNI) Railway Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today alleged that Nitish Kumar government was misleading the people of Bihar by making tall claims as it even failed to utilise the fund provided by the Centre for execution of various welfare and development schemes.
While inaugurating the introspection session of the party here, Mr Prasad said the Centre had released huge funds to Bihar for several welfare and development schemes but its benefits had not percolated to the ground level as the NDA government was not utilising the same.
Mr Prasad called upon the party workers to gear up for the next Lok Sabha elections and spread the achievements of the UPA government among the people in far-flung areas of the state.
He warned that party would not tolerate any disruptive activities of the leaders and workers aimed at damaging the prospect of the official candidate of the party. The official candidate of the party must be accepted by all and he was not to be identified with any individual, he added.
The RJD supremo took pot-shot on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his concern of the minorities'interests and said why he did not express such concern when he was minister in Vajpayee government at the Centre.
Former chief minister Rabri Devi, several union ministers of the party, party MPs, MLAs and MLCs were also present on the occasion.
