Dr B Suresh assumes charge as VC of JSS University

Mysore, Jun 13 (UNI) Dr B Suresh, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of JSS University, assumed charge at the university campus on the outskirts of the city today.

In a simple function organised by J S S Mahavidyapeetha, which runs the university, Suttur Mutt seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swami inaugurated the administrative office.

Dr Suresh, a former student of the JSS college, served in various capacities in the JSS institutions, including Principal of the Pharmacy College at Udhagamandalam in Tamil Nadu.

Speaking on the occasion, he said at present the university has four institutions under its umbrella. However, more colleges run by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha would be added to the university.
