Thomas Cook partners Bajaj Allianz

{image-thomas cook_12062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, June 12: Thomas Cook, leading travel solution provider, has parterned Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance to offer insurance solutions through its 160 retail branches across the country.

This partnership would help the travel company to provide life insurance products to custormers, who will now get a one-stop-shop for all travel needs, Thomas Cook Managing director Madhavan Menon told reporters here today. Bajaj Allianz Chief Executive Officer Kamesh Goyal said the partnership will offer life insurance solutions through direct contact points at the travel company's retail offices, e-business site and other locations. Bajaj Allianz also plans to increase its capital base by Rs 500 crore by the end of the current fiscal, Mr Goyal said. Its current capital base is Rs 1210 crore and the company earned a premium income of Rs 9700 crore in the last fiscal, he added.
