Ten persons killed in jeep-bus collision in UP

Azamgarh, Jun 12: Ten people were killed and five others were grievously injured after a Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus collided head on with a jeep here today.

The accident occurred on the Azamgarh-Shahganj higway near Vangaon bazar, when the speeding roadways bus dashed against a jeep, killing 10 people on the spot, police said.

At least five people suffered serious wounds in the accident.
