Student-couple held guilty of killing girl's ex-boyfriend
Pune, June 12: Aditi Sharma and Praveen Khandelwal, MBA stuents who were found guilty of murdering another student Udit Bharti last year in Pune, have been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Pune court
The incident had shocked among students and college campuses in April last year. Aditi joined a Pune engineering college with her boyfriend Udit in 2007. Both of them are residents of Jammu. Some time later Aditi started seeing another student Praveen. But when Udit resented the relationship, Aditi and Praveen left the college and moved to Delhi and began working at a call centre. But when Udit followed them to Delhi, Aditi and Praveen invited him to a hotel and gave him poison laced prasad. Udit died in the hospital and the killers were arrested soon after.
