Sonia to visit Mizoram on Saturday
Aizawl, Jun 12(UNI) UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi is expected to visit Mizoram on Saturday to take stock of the situation at the southern parts of Mizoram, the worst hit area by Mautam (bamboo flowering) famine.
An informed source said today that Sonia, after arriving at the Lengpui airport, would be directly taken to the south by helicopter but not before addressing the press and the locals at the airport.
She is expected to fly from Guwahati by helicopter.
