RJD asks Nitish to send list of property losses of riot victims

Patna, Jun 12 (UNI) The RJD today hailed the Cenre's decision to provide special relief package to the Bhagalpur riot victims and asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to immediately send a list of property lost by the riot victims.

Party state spokesperson Shakeel Ahmad Khan told UNI here that the the Centre in principle had agreed to compensate the losses of property of the Bhagalpur riot victims. He said in want of the list of the losses the Centre could not provide compensation to the victims.

He alleged that the state government had failed to send the detailed list of the losses of the riot victims and suggested Mr Kumar to initiate steps for preparing the list.

He said the losses would be suitably compensated as per the existing rates in order to facilitate the victims to reestablish their business.
