One killed, 3 injured in road accident
Nashik, Jun 12 (UNI) One person was killed and three others injured when their car collided with a jeep on Nashik-Pune Highway today.
A car was on its way to Nashik Road here, while a jeep was coming from opposite direction. The jeep driver lost control of the vehicle due to a techincal snag and collided with the car. The victims were occupants of the car, police said.
The jeep driver, Ratan Bidkar, resident of Jail Road at Nashik Road, was arrested for negligent driving.
The dead was identified as Shankar Hari Mande, car driver. He was a resident of Lam Road, Belatgavan.
The injured have been admitted to Bytco Hospital, police added.
