Northern parts of Kerala get good rain
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 12 (UNI) The South West Monsoon was active over the northern parts of Kerala and isolated rainfall experienced in Lakshwadeep, the Local Met office said here.
Kasargode got the highest rainfall of 14 cm followed by Kudulur with 10 cm.
Kannur received 9 cm, Hosdurg 8 cm, Manarcaud and Nilambur 7 cm each.
The Met office also warned of isolated heavy rainfall in the state in the next 48 hours.
It also warned of strong onshore winds from Westerly direction with speed the reaching 45-55 kmph along the Kerala Coast and over Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours.
