Dr S B Suresh appointed as JSS University Vice-Chancellor

Mysore, Jun 12 (UNI) Dr S B Suresh has been appointed as the first Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the newly established J S S University.

Dr Suresh, who was serving as the Principal of the J S S Medical Science College, Ooty, would assume charge tomorrow, an official release said here today.

Dr Suresh was also serving as the Chairman of the All India Medical Science Board and had served as the President of the Pharmaceutical Association of India.

J S S Mahavidyapeetha, is one of the pioneers in the field of education with more than 300 educational institutions to its credit in the state.

J S S Medical college, Dental college and Pharmacy colleges would also come under the University, the release added.
