Britney Spears and Mel Gibson enjoy cigars in LA

Melbourne, June 12 : Troubled singer Britney Spears is still being seen out with Mel Gibson, this time at Los Angeles cigar bar the Havana Club.

The pair spent almost three hours talking at the Havana Club in Beverly Hills, reports the Daily Telegraph.

The 'Toxic' girl, who was joined by her assistant and a bodyguard, tried to avoid paparazzi by driving into an underground parking garage when she arrived at the watering hole.

Gibson, who overcame alcohol dependency after a court-ordered counselling program following his arrest for drink driving in 2006, has been giving guidance to Spears over the past five months since she was admitted involuntarily to hospital.

The pair's friendship came into light after they were spotted together in public having dinner at a restaurant.

In May, Gibson, his wife, Spears and her father Jamie went on holiday together at the Braveheart star's secluded 35 million dollars ranch in Costa Rica.
