Rupee gains at 42.93/94 per USD

Mumbai, Jun 11: Rupee today gained against US Dollar at 42.93/94, stronger by three paise as compared to previous close of 42.96/97 per Dollar tracking the uptrend in local stock market.

The Indian currency crept up on expectations foreigners may resume share purchases, and hopes the central bank would lend a supporting hand to prevent any sharp falls, dealers said.
